This hotel was established in 1912 and we have refurbished the original floors. As with any old wooden building, our floors are a little creaky! In our experience, the pitter patter of joyful youth is magnified... and sometimes other sounds as well. For this reason we are adults only.

50% due at time of booking. The remaining balance is due the day of arrival and will be automatically charged on the same card used to make the reservation.

Some peak periods have minimum stay requirements. However, we can occasionally accommodate shorter stays in between other reservations, or if there is a last-minute cancellation. Please feel free to contact us at (360) 494-is 5431 to inquire.

We are a non-smoking and non-vaping inn. Smoking of ANY sorts is prohibited in rooms, common areas, on the porches and patios, as well as on the grounds. A $250 smoking fee will be added to the final bill and you will be asked to leave immediately without refund.

We love pets, but we cannot accommodate them at our historic hotel. Service dogs are of course welcome; please do let us know ahead of time if you are bringing a service dog as we will have to make some accommodations as we are an “allergy-friendly” hotel.

Historic Hotel Packwood warmly welcomes all guests. However, because our building was constructed in 1912 and retains its historic design, it is not wheelchair accessible or ADA compliant and we do not have an elevator.

That said, Room 10—the Sunrise Peak Trail Room—is located on the ground level. Steps can be avoided by approaching the room across the grass, and the shower includes a small built-in bench for added comfort.

Please note that entering the main building does require the use of steps.
